ANyone see the weather we had in Central IL yesterday?!!! We had 7 tornados and baseball sized hail!!!! Everyone I know only had minor damage, but it leveled hundred of homes!!! Tons of places still without power and have been told it will be 5-7 days until they get it back

I have been thinking about buying a generator for the house but not sure it's worth the expense. I've only been without power for a stretch like that about 3 times in my entire life. (Granted, two of them were last year. LOL)

I lived up near Chicago. My grandfather was born near Palmyra and his parents and sister lived in Alton though.
