Hello all !! new to this thread and site .You all sound like you know your stuff so I know im in good hands in here .Here's the story .....i was on autotrader.ca and i found a 99 expedition EB 5.4 on there for 700 dollars and i couldnt resist ...i got it(yaaaaaaaaaay) ......but there is work to be done (suspension first)so please I will like advice from you all . The suspension is shot ..the truck is sitting flat because the shocks and airsprings are dead .......but rather than replacing the air springs I was also thinking of changing to a spring conversion kit ......which is better and more durable ? Air or Spring ? ....later on i want to put in a lift as well so whats your advice and what are good but affordable options for spring kits and air cell replacements ?...............also i think the air compressor is working becasue when i shut off the truck you hear a hissing sound from under the hood

Coil over is less to worry about. I do think air ride feels better, but lije anything thats an oppinion. Monroes got weak reviews, I wouldnt use them on a car I plan to keep. Might want to stack up for sum kyb or bilsteins. How many miles does it have?
