56 bed sides

56 bed sides
I have a 56. Have a question about the bed sides on a 56. I understand the 53-56 sides are the same. 57 and up rear fender bolt holes are 3 or 4 inches higher. Does anybody have a measurement from the bottom of the bedside to the top center bolt? The reason I ask is I bought some and do not know if I have the right bedsides or not. I hate to do all the body work and then find out they are wrong.

Be aware that FoMoCo replaced the 1953/56 short & 1956 long Flareside bed sides with 1957 bed sides that were used thru 1972.
And the rear fenders were also replaced with 1957 rear fenders, as were the tailgates and front panels. Rear fenders were used thru 1979.
