Drop beam or spring under

So who has a drop beam on their 61-64? I don't want to do a full ifs setup so I'm trying to decide if I should flip the axel to the top of the springs on the front, or get a drop beam. I did a few searches and it looks like a lot of people run the crown Vic setup but I can't find any pictures or write ups on people who are running a drop beam. Thanks for the help.

Yeah I was looking at those beams. Look like a pretty good product. Can you run just the beam without having to mod steering or frame?

Yes,

Just use a Sids axle and tie rod locators. The alxe will give you a three inch drop and the reverse eyes or mono leafs will do another three.

Here is a shot of the axle and leafs.

Looks great. What did you do in the rear? I was just going to do an axle flip but wasn't sure about frame clearance. Im not trying to get super low.

The owner did a notch and i used 4" drop blocks to allow me to adjust the ride height after everything was assembled.

I will remove material to level the truck.

A simple axle flip and relocate the bump stops should allow you enough clearance. Keep the truck level with no rake. It just looks better.

Apreciate the help, I was thinking to just axle flip and level it out with the front once the beam is in. I could shackle it if I had to but I would think the Axle would be pretty close to the frame at that point. Thanks again for the input.

Ok so got the beam installed, great product, SIDS the man. Wanted to see what rims you guys are running since from what I can see you have to run like an 18 to prevent the beam from plowing in the case of a blow out. It's looks like most people just run whatever they want and just hope to not have a blow out. Anyone have any experience with this. Thanks
