My second PSD??? 97 350 CCLB
Hey yall.
Ive got a truck Im looking at getting. I figure heck... im 21 more than halfway through school and single..
I should enjoy myself!
Its a 97 f350 CC LB 4x4 Auto 236k miles.
15k ago the injectors were buzz tested and 2 were replaced. At that same time all 8 gps were replaced and gpr. The tranny was checked and was good, so he got an upgraded TC and a shift kit to beef it up a little bit. All new front end ball joints/tie rods/steering linkage. Coolant was flushed at that time too.
He got all that done at a diesel shop and has the receipt for it all.
Its PW PL not power mirrors.. AC and Heat work... half tread tires.
It is completely stock not messed with. still has stock DP and exhaust. The only thing aftermarket is the cd player deck and the beefed up trans i suppose.
Anyway ive been talking to him and im thinking of offering 6300... hes asking 7200.
if this works out my RCLB may or may not go up for sale...

Looks pretty good to me Alex. Its by a 5er, has it pulled much? When and if I sell mine I'll say its never pulled

Well the guy seemed pretty honest. He said he bought it near the end of last year for 4k from a friend because it was missing and the trans felt like it slipped.
Thats why he had the shop check over the engine/trans and got it all beefed up was to pull his 5er.
His situation changed (mom got sick and some other sad news) and sold his 5er and has to sell the truck too.
His ad said "NEED TO SELL IN A WEEK OR IM SCRAPPING IT!" so i called him that same day he posted and im like "WHAT DUDE?! FOR SHAME!!!!"
and we talked it out. im talking with him tonight to see if im driving the 15 hrs this weekend to pick it up!
if i do.. ill be taking Gretchen (my baby) and the 30' flatbed to haul another home! lol

Thanks Glenn! It had crossed my mind.
Overall tho im getting a CCLB 4x4 with D60s with no rust for a good price!
If work needs done itll get done.. im too **** about my trucks not to do it anyway. lol
I just wanted other things to bring up for negotiating purpose.
