Relocated DPF & CAC

Warranty ran out last month, - so today I decided not to eliminate the DFP & CAC so I re-located it - to the bed of my truck - fficeffice" /><O></O>
Installed H & S Mini Maxx with Flo Pro Cat & DPF delete pipes.<O></O>
I just couldn't stand the thought of fuel dilution any more. I have the oil tested every change (5,000 miles) and was running between 2 to 4 % dilution. Ford service rep told me it could stand up to 6% - I just can't buy into oil that is diluted with fuel - On Purpose - It just can’t be a good thing. Installed costs $1,300 Will be taking a 400 mile road trip on Friday - and looking forward to it, no more “Cleaning Exhaust filter” no more stink, no more of the engine growling with the extra fuel and no more white smoke. At 80,000 miles to date - looking forward to the next 200,000.

Welcome to the club! I've enjoyed my truck deleted for over 50,000 miles. Absolutely love it.

Your wallet will love it and you'll be amazed how the fuel gauge doesn't drop like a rock any more. Sad when I had just under half a tank and couldn't go on a 120-150 mile round trip without fear I may run out.

Don't stop testing the oil and assume fuel dilution has gone away. 2-4% is way above normal unless you have been interrupting most regens. There are other ways fuel gets into the oil besides regens such as bad injectors and leaking fuel fittings from the HPFP. Still legal here and 0.5% fuel or so on my reports.
