Help!!!!!! New injectors, pull to crank then won't pull off!?!?!?!?!?

Brand new injectors, just in today, cranked it up, ran like a champ. Got down the road bout 5miles, and just died out. Now I have to pull it to crank and will idle just a tad rough but when I go to take off it goes a second but then just dies. I can't find any leaks around return lines or anything, Im in dire need of help, trucks on the side of the road, in the hurricane. Anything will be appreciated.

Any pinched fuel lines?
Was the injection pump off for the injector swap?
Injection pump timed after injectors in?
Age of the lift pump?

Need more info!

All fuel lines are fine, and the IP stayed on and in place during the work this a.m. No, I didn't check the timing, because it idled and ran smooth. But it only dies if it's under a load. It would idle forever, without dying out. It's blowing my mind.

Hopefully someone else has got an idea of whats going on. All I can think of is either plugged fuel filter, plugged return line, or bad lift pump.

The fuel lines a selector valve can get junk in them too but check your filter, and fuel pump first.

I ended up having that problem and bypassing the factory lines fixed my problem.

You may want to change the filter but its the lift pump thats most likely bad.

^^^^ A filter is not likely to cause such a drastic and sudden power loss, but change it anyway and check the pump for sure

ya know i had something similar go wrong with mine turned out to be the ip was weak wouldnt want to get up and go and even climbing a small hill seemed to take lots of effort i would guess that its the ip but it could also be the lift pump. from the sounds of it you put new injectors in then my guess would be ip because your ip is probably getting worn and doesnt want to push that sort of pressure anymore

Alright guys, I put on a new fuel filter and and checked everything y'all said, but I had already done away with the mechanical lift pump and installed an electric unit on the frame. The truck made it home, white smoke rolling, and little to no power, could it be that the electric pump is not putting out enough or something in the IP?
Thanks for you guys help, I appreciate it.
