Well, I have got a problem now with rear sag. The X is lifted 4" and when inspecting it this morning to see if I could find any thing that really stood out i noticed the bump stops for the leaf springs are sitting below the top of the leaf spring.. They dont line up witch is why they are below. This is on both sides..
Unknowns: I Dont know how long this kit has been on the truck or even the maker of the kit. By everything I have read I assume its only 4" kit from post in the forum about wheel well height and center of hub to wheel well..
I thought about taking it to a spring shop and having them look at it to see what they think about it but i wanted to get some imput before I go that far.
I am sure the shocks are wore out as I dont know how long they have been on there they are on my list to do but everytime I get some cash put to the side for the replacement something comes up and I gotta spend that elsewhere. However, I Dont think bad shocks would allow it to drop this far would it?
If you need anything pictures or whatever to help me let me know and I get them took and posted! Thanks! in advance!
Yeah Stewart I know it was dark the night I posted this but to get everyone up to speed. I ran by a suspension shop and learned a lot of stuff. Rear sag is caused due to the rear springs being weak.
The tire wear. I was getting on the front is due to bad shocks. Driver side front bottom ball joint is bad passenger side bottom ball amount is also bad. Tie rods are still in good shape. Abs light has a been on since the day I brought it due to a bad sensor in the right front. Guess its time to tear the front end apart and get to work!!
