steering column adjustment

steering column adjustment
I have'nt tried yet but I was wondering if it is possible to adjust the steering column. By modifying the bracket that fixes it to the dash panel. I was thinking of making it shorter to move the column up to allow more room behind the wheel. Does anyone know if there is any movement on the column .

No.
The 63 F100 is an integral box and shaft.
The column can adjust slightly to provide correct TS switch activation and tht is about it.
You would need to cut and modify the steering shaft to provide any offset form the box.
