First I would start by checking ALL your fuses, in the dash, and under the hood. It is best to check them with a test light as ocationally they can "look" good but be blown.
The relay(s) are in the big fusebox under the hood behind the air filter housing. There are actually two relays according to the manual for my 01. One for hi/low and one for park/run. (position #34,35 if it is the same for your 02) It has been my experience on ford vehicles that more often than not it is the so called multifunction switch on the column. It is actually the whole lever for turn signals, wipe/wash, and hazard flashers. Not to say that is the only possibility but I have replaced four of them in different vehicles across 10 years of ford production and they all did the same thing at the end. The wipers would cut in and out in all positions from intermittent, low and Hi. Then after some time they just stopped working completely. I don't really know a way to test for it. They are not really expensive (I think the last one was about 60$) and if everything else checks out it is a place to look.

Thanks, I just wanted to swap it with other relays just to check it off thu list. I actually have a new lever on the way. I will pickup a tester for the fuses I just did a visual last time.

Sorry, I could have sworn I saw you had an 02. Do you have the owners manual still or not? I have the PDF version so I can try to copy the pages about relays in and post them if you want.

Thanks for your hardwork but it seems the E350s fuse box is setup different. I did find it though but it seems like only 1 fuse for the wipers. Surely there has to be relay no?

Sorry it couldn't help. There must be a relay someplace. Good luck.

Looks like you have a "wiper control module". Maybe that takes the place of the relay???

Its 150 for the module. I found one on Ebay for a 97 for 20 bucks. Well the part came in and it was bigger PLUS the plug didn't fit so I was like F that im going to take it into the dealer and let them do it. Then I got to thinking what if I just make the plug fit into the old one and BAM! wipers work :P

Well its only 1 speed on or off but it works so if you want a cheap fix I hope this save someone some money.

Glad to hear it is working. I am suprised they use such a different system on the vans. I guess they do it for their own reasons. Maybe at some point you can find the correct piece and get your delay wipers back.
