I've read through brake threads and I think I am close to solving my problem but I wanted to throw my specifics out there and see if anyone has some advice for me.
My driver's side front caliper is sticking and here's what I have done to it:
replaced caliper and hose last spring,
Took it off last week and pistons pushes in easily with a clamp.
Replaced caliper and pads, drove it around,
Jacked up wheel and caliper still sticking.
I plan on installing a zero loss brake booster this weekend. Should I go ahead and replace the Master Cylinder as well?
I think the passenger's side is also sticking, but I didn't have time to test it.
Carrier was replaced and lubed. I assume you are calling the carrier the chrome metal piece the pad sits on. I greased all of the friction points. My last brake job went 90K miles. Haven't checked the right rear.
