Anyone have an idea of how long and/or far I have to drive my truck (2000 F250 V10) after I re-program the ECM for it to reset completely?
I set my ECM back to stock as i have to have it smogged (good ol' PRK), I have driven around town for a bit but it failed the test as the computer had apparently not reset.
So, I drove it a bit more, and according to my scanner there are still 2 mode that have not reset (EV & CC).
Evap takes forever. You are allowed one monitor not checked in. There is some runs to make, like 3/4 throttle to 45mph than to stop three times, stop and go traffic, hold at 60mph for 10 minutes. I don't remember the order. The evap is usually the one the one they let you slide on. What is CC? That doesn't ring a bell.
Yes, Evap is STILL open, but everything else cleared between 36 and 80 miles. Took it back this morning, passed (with flying colors) with the evap monitor still not reset.
