supercharger question
Hey yall! 98 Expedition 4x4, 5.4L, lifted, 180K miles. I found a supercharger from a lightning at a local pawn shop for $300. What are your opinions on this? If I bought it, what else would I need to install this? Its just the supercharger with the pulley and nothing else.

A super charger off of a Lightning goes to a pawn shop? I would have guessed a parts yard from a wrecked one. I would see it going to a rebuild shop for testing and refreshing. Bolting it on ask the question, did it come off of a 351 and what year? I would have pictures of a Lightning to go by. Call around to the parts yards, maybe a lot more to know after a few trips to talk to them.
