Not completely true all trucks are light in the rear. In my opinion long bars and a ds loop are a must with slicks. As for weight, most of the viper truck guys run some sort of traction bar and they are extremely heavy, 6000+ lbs. Same goes with the harley trucks. Read through this thread Todays test with the Stiffler long bars! - Lightning Forum | LightningRodder.com And tell me what you think

Mine is 2wd too, ill try the slicks at the track now that my truck is lowered over the summer, if I get wheel hop ill check into them, but there isn't much to choose from for 2007's. On the street my Nitto's do pretty well and don't hop when they stick, but slicks are different. I had slicks on my cobra and it would wheel hop like crazy unless you dropped the air pressure in them.

Added some stuff.
I wanted to bring my thread back alive because I have added a few things to the truck since the supercharger install. Below I have pictures of the oil catch can I just installed( literally today) so I dont know how good itll work yet. I also added Belltech 2" lowering shackles that turned out great. Let me know what you think.
Plus I have an appointment finally to get my truck tuned locally at Performance By Joe on July 18th, so we'll see what #'s I can put up and get rid of that crappy speed limiter!
