fuse pannel

Hey, i'm looking for a fuse pannel for our trucks if anyone has one.

When I had a no brain moment a couple months back I tried to hook my batteries up backwards. Luckily it just touched for a second, but I dicked up my heater fuse block, the surge all went there thankfully, but its burnt up pretty bad and looks like i'm getting a lot of resistance on the terminal.

So I need to replace it.

You betcha.

I thought I saved the one from my f-150, but I was sadly mistaken.

Nice thing is, I might hard wire in fuses for my gauges though when I replace this thing.

I have no heater controls right now.

I'm glad my scangauge peedered out on me cause i wouldn't have checked the pannel.
It was melted pretty bad.

ON a side note on that, my cigarette lighter stopped working too, I think they are connected.

on my 88 the wiring to the heater circuit was bad from the factory. after around 10 years, i was down to around 6 or 7 strands of wire . i cut the wire out and replaced that circuit with a 50 amp maxi fuse harness with a 25 amp fuse in it.
no problems out of it since then.

when i cut the wire out of the fuse block i found out it supplied the heat/AC, brake light, blinkers, and lighter.

Alright, I'm betting that is my issue then.

Thanks for that info.

I don't want to really get into it today though.

I'll have to figure it out when I pull the block when I have a replacement.

I am pretty sure I have one in the gray dash from the last truck I scrapped. What exactly do you need? The whole dash harness or just the block?
