I have a 99 7.3 4x4 DRW F350. I have a 1.5in add a leaf in the front to help with the rake. I have 16in Aloca rims that I would like to keep. I'm looking a putting 33.5 or 35 in tires on my truck. This issue I'm getting mixed answers from tire dealers. One told me I can go with 35in on my dually and not have a problem with them rubbing when I put a camper on the back. Another tire dealer said that 35's would rub with a camper so I should only go with 33's. So what size of tires can I go with to fill in the wheel well space, but not rub when I put a camper on the back of the dually? I have not got a camper yet so no idea about weight. Just want to make sure I don't have a problem in the future. Thanks for the help
just saw 35's on a dually. Had to take a look ,cuz of how bad-a$$ it looked. Cant tell ya though if spacers were installed. What about airbags to help with the rubbing?
Another thing to concider is turning radius. 35" tires will fit in the front, but will more than likely rub at full turn. 33" tires and 285/75-16 should be fine at full turn. Plus still give the truck a good look and function.
