HD Tow Package

I am looking at a used 2012 Expedition EL Limited. Only problem is that its 600 miles away from me. Can i tell by the VIN if it has the HD Tow package? Or by the sticker on the inside of the door with tire info, etc?

Cut and paste the following link and add your VIN after the "=" sign. It will bring up a copy of the window sticker.

For a 2012 look under the "FUNCTIONAL" section.

It should say "HD Tailer Tow Pkg"

If it lists "Class IV Trailer Tow Pkg" then it doesnt have it.
