Rancho 9000 shocks
I have purchased these shocks from Samsa Off Road and installed them on my ex. man what a difference.
I have also bought the dual controller for these , but have yet to install it.
Has anyone on this forum put the controller in too?
If so where did you mount it? how difficult was it to run all the air lines?
I am thinking of sending it back and leaving the shocks alone.
I need some advice on this one.

I do not have the controller so I cannot help you with mounting.
It would be a nice addition if I felt that I needed to change the settings frequently.
I have heard of some troubles with the controllers. Seems to me just one more thing to break. Something to think about, I guess.

Rancho 9000 shocks
I want to make the ride on my V10 X 4x4 a little softer. For what I've read on here thats your guys have gone with the Ranchos. When I called NTB locally here they said the Ranchos will give a stiffer ride. He recommended the Bilstiens and they are like 60 bucks each with about 13 bucks to install. What are your thoughts. I basically want to soften the ride for more touring, I don't do any off road driving. Thanks in advance for your help.

Some complain that the Bilsteins can ride harsh. I dunno.
I got the 9000's. The main benefit of the 9000s is adjustability. I tow, so I want them stiff with the trailer, softer without.
The Rancho RSX/Monroe Reflex may be a good choice. They are stiff, but have a bypass valve that is supposed to soften them up upon harsh impact.
