Id like to attempt that but I'm new to welding and dont want to mess up some good pipes...maybe later down the road when I get better at welding I can attempt it..

Not exactly the same deal, but close enough to post up...
I HATE seeing the exhaust pipe hanging below the frame on trucks and in my mock up if seemed that there was no way around seeing my exhaust pipe hanging below the frame due to the divorced t-case. Because of this I'm messing with putting mine somewhere else completely.
Granted I have a 4" pipe and only 1 exhaust pipe due to the diesel, but this can easily be worked to both sides of the truck using shorty headers.
I'm running a "fenderwell exit" exhaust pipe and then tucking the tubing up under the body outside of the frame.
My exhaust will come over from the motor & down through that gap between where the fender mounts & the body mount. It's big enough for a 4" pipe with some room so 3" or smaller will be really easy!
