Not Another Tuner thread......
Good afternoon folks,
Just got my hands on an 07 f-250 eclb. has 24,800 on odometer. im looking to slowly add some goodies as my bank account allows, and am beginning to research what add-ons i want to buy. Come tax return season, I plan on sending the truck to a shop that can do the necessary preventative fixes (arp head studs, gaskets all the way around, egr delete, coolant filter) Now being an 07, I've heard that bypassing the egr, even if you keep it plugged in, can still throw a check engine light. i know the sct will make the light turn off, however i was wondering if the edge cts also has that capability? I'd rather purchase the edge because i like the display, and the ability to add additional sensors to it. I know another option is to buy the sct to program the computer for my tune, and just buy the edge cs for gauges and sensors alone, but i'd rather kill two birds with one stone. Any input would be greatly apreciated.
P.S. Its a six speed, so I don't have to worry about transmission compatibility issues.
