Tranny help quick!! ?
I just dropd the pan on my auto trans and there is this little yellowish white thing with a O-ring jsut sitting in the bottom. What the heack is that, and where did it come from. My truck is a 1995 f150 4wd with a U( door tag) tranny, but I got a filter kit that says AODE. So what the heack am i suposed to do. I have to drive it tommarrow. Help Please quick. Thanks

Probably just the seal plug for the hole where the dipstick tube goes. The manufacturer put the plug in the hole, as the diptubes on different vehicles are different sizes. When they installed the diptube, it just pushed the seal into the tranny pan where it sits until 1st fluid change or forever, which ever comes 1st.
