Reason: forgot sum info
At 150,000 miles you have a number of issues to repair.
Either make plans for a lot of trouble shooting and repair or replace the truck with another one.
With what you report, the first thing is a possible faulty GEM module that controls the 4x4 and some auto lamp features, wiper control etc..
Vaccum leak is another problem.
Could be the power brake unit, the hose attached to vacuum etc.
Steering wheel issue affects the Air Bag circuit.
In my opinion you had better repair these items post hast and not use the truck until they are all addressed in the interest of safety.
You could lose brakes.
The Air Bag could blow.
Steering could bind up and lose control of the truck.
.
4x4 is less a safety issue but you may need it in winter time.
My feeling is the truck has been left go and now the problems are pileing up to the danger point.
Good luck.
