interesting you say that, I bought my early '04 on 04/01/12 w/ 204k, As of 10/27/12 it has 227k. last 5k lots of "issues" not bad mouthing the truck just noticed similarities. I still love the crap out of this truck.

Just bought an '03 with 141k miles on it. I've only put about 500 on it but so far it's run like a tank, made a 210 mile drive back to Knoxville from Murfreesboro with no hiccups and it's been doing fine in mixed hwy and city traffic. Still planning on replacing the oil cooler and replacing or deleting the EGR

123,500 kms -CANADA!
about 72,000 miles
Head gaskets & turbo rebuilt (under warranty) at 60,000 miles; just had the FICM go out of the blue.
Coolant filter put on 2 years ago & filter never have plugged!
I've only had her 2.5 years & had no idea how much TLC these brutes require.
Love the truck but wish Ford would make me love them.
When FICM went dealer said, 'oh another one'; no extended warranty 50/50 offer or anything just a smile & a $1,400 bill.
