Header help!!

Header help!!
I put some hooker headers on my '80 f250 with a 400 and c6. The driver side header is really close to the transmission, so close that the shift arm on the trans hits it. Anyone else have this problem? How would I fix it? I will post a picture tomorrow. Thanks!
