VIAIR Customer Support

Got my kit couple weeks ago and finally getting around to installing it tomorrow, well getting every thing together tonight and looking at things making a plan and noticed threads on end of tank looked funny, blew them out with air and tryed to screw fittings into the holes on the end of tank and 3 out of 4 the threads are messed up.
Any one dealt with VIAIR customer service before, if so how were they.
Of course by the time I realized what was going on they were already closed, so have to wait till Monday to call them.. Jeeezzzz.

I would expect them to be solid.

On the other hand, and no help to you, but most of us here would probably reach into the tool box and grab a thread tap and continue with the install.

Do what Joe said..you can always take a small retanglular (sp) file and clean the threads sometimes in a pinch.

I have the correct tap and ability to repair it, I just feel that they can/should replace a new out of the box product that is messed up.
If I was desperate or in a bind I would repair it myself, As a last resort will make the repair and do install.
