Bad gas possibly...?
So I have everything in my 79 f 250. Motor is the 400 6.6l. I had no spark before now it won't fire over it kinda putters and my timing is dead on. The gas has been sitting in the truck for a year could that be the problem?

Old gas is not good, i believe that's your problem. Drain it and refill ,then add some additive to remove water from the tank. Depending where you live it can get humidity build up if it sat a long time with just a part of a tank of fuel.
