Thays a good idea. Make sure everything works beforeyou pull your motor out.
Well since I bought ma bronco I made 4 engines swaps in 7 years ......it was born with 302/c6, 2nd a 1999 3.0 Toyota turbodiesel and 5 speed trans, 3th a 2006 3.0 toyota turbadiesel intercooler and electronic fuell injection, 4th 1982 400"M with ZF5 .....allways starting the engines in a stand to be sure..
this was the donnor of the 2006 toyota engine....I put a new battery and fixed come wiring and started at once!! this engine was 163hp and I added a power chip and took it to 203hp.....but the injection system blew up cos the bad quality of the diesel fuel available in my country....
That motor looks awesome, it's not really fair man. I gave up on me doing a swap, the diesel options for this Bronco are terrible. I will not put a cummins in it..
think I'm just going to save up and buy a new crate Coyote or an Ecoboost 6cyl.

The truck in wich we went to look for my angine it's an F250 with Cummins 4BT turbo intercooler ...it's a very good engine but you need to be used to the noise and vibration...hahaha
A good option is a V8 diesel.....I know a couple of Broncos with 7.3 and 6.9 and they have a lot of power.....but those engine are very hard to find and rebuilding them importing the parts would cost at least 7K!!!....
Man if someone puts in eco-boost in a bronco I'd love to see that. Save probably 200# and all that boosted torque ARGH ARGH ARGH ARGH( Tim "The Tool Man" Taylor.)
