cruise control recall

cruise control recall

Does anyone know if I can just order this part from Ford or have them send it to me, or do i have to take the truck to them?

What part is it they recalled & when ? & where can I look up recalled items ?

It's a wiring harness they splice in by the master cylinder. Kind of a cobbled up mess, but it keeps the truck from burning down. It has happened more than once.

I'm not sure where to look up recall items. Cruise and cps were the only ones that come to mind I guess.

Ya as Darin said you have to take it in and have them put it on. When i went i had to wait for a meacanic to get back from making a delivery the parts guy there wouldnt let me hook it up.

center grey tab, open recall notices, than either sign up or just put in your VIN # and it will tell you all open recalls on your truck

is there a fuse or anything that can be unhooked that will prevent the short until i can get the fuse installed. I never use my cruise so unhooking it isnt as big a deal as the truck burning down lol.
