Alarm Install
Alarm Install
Going to attempt installing a viper 5904 tonight and was wondering if anyone had some tricks and tips. I am very mechanically and electrically inclined but I've never done an alarm so its new for me. Where did everyone mount their sirens and boxes? anything that can cause my install to come to a halt?
Appreciate it in advanced guys and gals!

I had my viper installed by someone else that used to install them. They had all sorts of issues with getting the right pin outs, and tech support was difficult for him. That is why he quit installing them years ago.
Looking at what he did, and had to go thru i'm glad I didn't try it myself, as that was the plan. $400 well spent on my part.
He mounted the siren under the hood by the couling. Lots of room there and right above the hole thru the firewall. Easy access for wires.
The box he mounted, zip tied above the emergency brake pedal, near behind the fuse box, there is all sorts of room.
Did you end up getting the extra to bypass the PATS key?
