Fuel Pump??

Fuel Pump??
Hello- new to the board but have been looking in for awhile. I usually find what I am looking for, but this time I had to register and ask!
I have a 95 F250 5.8l 4X4 RC with a single fuel tank. Last year I replaced the fuel pump and we've gotten along fine. A month ago, I replaced the pump again (same symptoms as before - no "charging" sound on driver's side)
Today I find I have the same problem. So far, I have shuffled the 3 relays under the hood, checked fuses and inertia switch. I can't believe I have burned up another pump - and I really don't want to tow it to the mechanic again.
The truck is used for light ranch work, mostly caliche road driving and back and forth to town.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Fuel Pump??
It's not hard to change the FP, and on a pickup, you can pull the bed. 
But FIRST... Put a fuel pressure gauge on the fuel rail, and put a voltmeter on the wires to the FP.
