MAG CHLORIDE
I have had a problem with my last 08 F350 with the Mag chloride
After one year the nerf bars and the front bumper had rust spots. The dealer said to bad. The mag is everywhere here in Colorado. I just got a new F350 and don't want this to happen again. The dealer offered to install a product called Mag Shield for $800.00. Anyone have a recomendation for a chrome protectant?

Give Fluid Film a try along with regular underbody washing. I have had part of my fleet undercoated and applied POR15 to the others. All get Fluid Film applied regularly.
I have heard that FTE is a valid discount code at one of the online vendors.
