'95 Powerstroke starts, then dies
Just ran into another problem with my '95 F250 Powerstroke. After the truck had sat for a year with me trying to find the problem for it not starting, I replaced the IDM and it fired up, and was running very well. I drove it about 300 miles, then tonight as i was leaving the driveway it died, just as if someone shut the key off like the last the truck had a problem. This time, it fired right back up, then I drove another 20 feet and it died again, this time the Check Engine light came on, and would crank but not start. I let it sit for about 2 minutes, then the check engine light went off, and I tried it again, and it fired right up, ran perfect for 30 seconds, then died again, and the light came on again. Now, when the Check engine light comes on, there is also no wait to start light.
The amount of time in which I have to wait for the CEL to go off for it to start is sporadic. Could be 1 minute, could take 3-4 minutes. The amount of time it runs is also sporadic. Could be 15 seconds, could be up to a minute. One of the times that it was running and died, we heard a bunch of clicking noises (like something electronic switching on and off) coming from the motor somewhere, and this only happened one time. Sometimes, with the key on, the CEL will be on, then flicker off, which will in turn kick the WTS light back on, and then the motor will start and repeat the aforementioned process of running for awhile and dying.
We believe the CPS is good because it was replaced very recently, and the tach moves when cranking. IDM is a rebuilt unit. The PCM was also swapped out with a unit that was completely identical to the original. When the motor runs, it sounds perfect, and the way in which it dies is identical to just shutting off the key. No sputtering, rough idle, etc. Full of oil, Shell Rotella 15w-40. Is a '95 F250 4x4, extended cab, long bed, AT, with 299,200 miles. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I've been way too busy to try troubleshooting on it, so I loaded it up on the trailer to take it to a Ford Diesel Mechanic we know, hoping it would run long enough to get up on the trailer. Turns out it sat there and ran for a full hour before it finally quit, then after that did the same thing, running for about a minute and then shutting off.
