clutch fan vs flex fan

1986 f350 460.

Just did a rebuild and reinstallng the motor in the truck.

What is your opinions on keeping the clutch fan or going to a flex fan.

If i keep the clutch fan setup, is there a way to "bench test" it to see if it works properly?

This truck has the big radiator, with tranny lines going to it, plus an oil cooler, a/c, etc.

Given the factory clutch fan against the factory flex fan, the flex fan will cool better.

Do you know what factory flex fans will fit?
I assumed they were all clutch, and i'd have to go aftermarket for flex.

Mine is off a 351M-400. I had to drill the center of the spacer out to fit the 460's water pump, the bolt holes line up though.
