I agree with everything that was said here. I do not let friend or family use any of my cars, truck or boats. And I will not work on family or friends vehicles either. They always end up blaming you for the next thing that breaks. Also I will not sell anything to friend or family and this is proof why!
I had replaced my brake pads 7k ago and all was good. Then a week before RRE the front was hanging up AGAIN. This time I replaced everything hoses, mount brackets, slide pins and calipers. So I blame the new owner for not stopping when he knew something was wrong. And the trans I'll bet he was beating the crap out of it.
