I bought the haynes manual for the X today. I'm wondering if I should bother unwrapping it and just return it. I wonder at how much use it will be it looks really thin to cover form 1999 to 2010. Thoughts on it.
I recently bought one for my X three weeks ago and it has already been put to use several times. I recently bought my X and I have been using the manual to get to know my truck better. I read about something and then go and check it out. I have also used it to learn how to change my manual locking hubs. So far already saved me money by not having to take it to the stealership for some maintenance. I'd say keep it cause even if youuse it once it will pay for itself in labor cost savings, not mention being able to purchase parts from an auto part store rather then the Ford parts counter. Those savings would pay for the manual, several times over as well!
It's always been the first thing I do when I get a new car, buy the haynes manual. This one just seems to cover a lot of different vehicles and engines. I just wondered it covered it in any kind of detail. You talked me into it though.
Has anyone ever used one of the digital ones that are available? Good, bad, ugly?
Most of the info you need is missing from haynes.
I suppose it is good to read upon first getting the ex.
I find online info more useful. Especially the fte!!!
