painted mirror caps
I have a 2007 F250 with the chrome mirror caps and want to get the paintable ones like on the king ranch trucks. I have tried several parts websites as well as eBay and cannot find them anywhere. Does anyone know who sells them?

Yes you can.
Sand,primer and then paint.
Did you look at the link?
What I would like to do is find a
crinkle finish that I spray on and
then put the black over the top so it
looks like the black plastic ones.

You need to sand it then use a paint that has the additive
so it will stick to plastic. Best bet would be to buy your
paint at an automotive paint store and let them know
what your are going to paint.
