differences in Canadian ruck

Trying to trade for a truck for a body swap on my 79 f -250 4x4.found a 79 f -250 4 x 2,canadian truck (?).Besides the metric
Gauges,what differences are there,and can i swap those parts from mine.sheetmetal is all i really am after.thanks

I don't believe there are any body differences between US and Canadian built trucks. A lot of the US trucks were built in Canada (Ontario Truck Plant).

Thanks.I was pretty sure they were about the same,would have other truck to swap small odds and ends off of.

Back in the 70's there were no differences between U.S. and Canadian Trucks. I got mine out of B.C. and it was built in the U.S. and like a previous poster mentioned, a lot of U.S. trucks were built in Oakville Ontario. My 1976 F250 has all Imperial gauges. I don't know when the gauges were swapped to also read in metric. Everything else would be the same, other than the fact that 95% of Canadian trucks are rusty as h3ll!
