I reattached the exhaust this past weekend. It's been off since I got it back in August; rusted through at cat/down pipe junction and the muffler was rusted out. I rewelded the cats back on and cut out the old muffler and replaced it with a thrush glass pack. For some reason now, not sure if its coincidence, when I first start it and give it the gas it bogs down for some reason. It seems to be fine if I let it warm up for a bit but it just is weird that it was fine and now this. Any ideas as to why, would the exhaust have anything to do with this?
Not sure. Any type of cleaner I can run through them or any way to tell? I figured if they were clogged though it wouldn't get better, it would continue to act the same way.
Just started it again when I got home from work. I does fine after it warms up, maybe 2-3 min but before that if I try to give it has it just bogs down. Maybe it's just the cooler temps and the engine just has to get warm I dunno. Still I wouldn't think it's normal. Or is it?
