OT- site issue thread...

Not what you think... not bitching about a link...LOL

Picture one is a new window, opened at more or less the same time as the old one...

Old one is just simply refreshed...

Notice how there are no new replys shown in the old one, but there are in the new one...

This is the only site I see this issue. I close and reopen windows all day here just to see new threads or replys.

If I respond to a thread I get a refreshed page, but other wise its the same blank stare...

My issue or site issue?

Always been that way for me. If I post in a thread, it will refresh. Other than that, I have to refresh to see new post.

Maybe you are not all the way crazy.

I've wondered about this also. Thought it was just this work computer. I also have to log back on some times when I view a thread, actually quite a lot recently.

IIRC it had or has something to do with IE, You can try clearing your cookies and cache for and see if that helps. I got tired of it and switched to Google Chrome.

Using Google Chrome, if I click reload, the page will refresh with new posts if they are any.

IE sucks.

FTE works much better and loads much quicker with Chrome versus IE.

Agreed! Move away from IE if that is what you are using. There are some sites that absolutely require IE, but luckily, FTE is not one of them.

I'm using firefox, and have this issue, but only sometimes. Mostly when I have a lot of windows open.

IE is terrible. Firefox is okay, Chrome is best

Firefox is good, I used it for many years, but after a while (months) its slows down. Chrome doesnt seem to have this problem for me.
