new here

Ive been lurking for quite a while drooling over every one's trucks and projects.
I got lucky or in neck deep depending on how you look at it.
I got a 49 ford f1 in need of some love and repair for 500 bucks.
The guy i bought it from said he will try to get it dug out from where it is next week. Ill get it home and start making the list of thing i will need.
So in the mean time ill post some pics.

has some stuff in the back and a dented fender...also notice the WHITE wall tire. tells you how long its been setting there.

interior is missing a seat and a passenger floor and a few other pieces.

V8 flat head still in there i haven't tried to put a ratchet on it but i could move it a bit back and forth by the belt.

the front frame horns are both bent some and the front sheet metal is tweaked a bit.... nothing to bad from what i can see.

I Plan on

3 inch lowering springs front and back
I'd like to remove the steel bed floor and put wood back there
I have a 302 and a c4 as well as a 9inch from a 69 ford truck

In the bed is another bed that is full of other stuff including.....a few rear ends from dodges a comple rear end including motor from a vw. The actual floor of the truck is empty.

Its stuck up tight against a 41 chevy car, and the front axle is under dirt lol.

Welcome, and looks like a decent start to your project. My 51 was in worse shape than that when I got it, and well it's in just about the same shape today, (just in pieces) lol well a little has been done, but not much.

post more pictures as you get her unburied and brought home.

Welcome imabaka!

All of us started somewhere - looks like you have some decent pieces to begin you project.

You appear to have a big 'ol horn mounted between the radiator and grill. Is that the case? Those puppies are respect generators.

Looks like a good start Bud. Ya may try and get the Flat motor to run before ya pull it out. Ya could get more for it as a running engine to help fund yer project.
