rig is looking good, how is rest of engine/trans install going?
Slow. Spent too much on the engine, now I have to wait and get things a bit at a time. I just can't see putting a used water pump, etc. on it. Have one coming and a radiator. I'll have more on the rad when I get it. Let's just say it ain't a stock one
No new updates yet. Xmas is paid for and weather is getting better. I expect to have at least the interior done and the doors back on by the end of this month
I am getting some things done in spite of my efforts. Got the dizzy converted to electronic ignition, new plug wires made up, new cap & rotor and a set of Autolite 45's installed.
The first pic is my home brew air cleaner made up out of Pull and Save pieces. Used exh pipe reducers and hose clamps to feed the snorkels
For wire looms I took some angle I have and made up a piece for each side. Welded them right to the valve cover. I had to feed the wire thru before assembling the dizzy end and I screwed up #7. Doesn't pass resistance check. So I have to get some more ends and redo it
