Kalifornia's state fuel taxes are almost double what most other states are. Louisiana's gasoline taxes are $.38/gal (fed and state) last I checked. Kalifornia's is $.69/gal Add in the added cost of the boutique blend gas and you get far higher prices at the pump, you can think your state government for those two factors, plus the coming cost increases with the cap and tax BS they passed a few weeks ago.
