Extended warrantee question
Last month I had some exhaust valves come apart on my 2011 6.7 Sd. Ended up getting a new long lock. Truck had 29k on the odometer and the job was all covered by ford. If it wasn't covered, it would have been 12k for repairs.
I'm completely satisfied with the repairs the dealer has done, but I'm alittle concerned over a future problem. I'm gonna call ford and talk with them about a extended warrantee. What's the average price I could expect to pay for this?

Depending on how much you want to warranty, I believe they have like 3 different types. I always got a warranty but it's like gambling. You may need it and it pays off, or like the last one i had didn't pay off.I had 0 payment for any warranty service for i believe 3 xtra years for about $1000. I don't put many miles on, so went with more years. They can go over $2000.
