Can anybody tell me if the ford keyless entry fobs are universal? I've got a 1997 f150, and I've found new fobs on e-bay but I'm not sure if they will work for my truck. What would I be looking for, and if my fob is a two button with a panic, would a four button work? Thanks, darin.

 

Believe it or not, there are about 12 different fobs used by Ford. Some work with other models, some don't. The best thing to do is just keep an eye on e-Bay and wait for your model to pop up- they always do.
