2008 SD coolant problems

Well hi all ....
I'm new to the group but not to Ford Trucks !!
I run a 99 F350 7.3 , it only has 490000 Kms lol with no problems .. Hence no joining the group ...

Well i still have the 99 but have upgraded to a 08 SD F350 SRW ... Very happy love my new Ford ...
But I have a coolant leak on it , dripping from the lower drivers side radiator area . Seems to leak more when not running .
I have it booked into my local Ford dealer for this ... They say they will test & possibly replace Rad,Thermostats,houses,flush .... Aprox $2k Canadian parts Labour .... Are we in the right ballpark $ wise
He pulled the vin & said it has never had coolant work ...
Truck has 93k miles on it so I'm guessing ford would not cover the repairs right

I'd say you're right on all counts. Once it's fixed, it's usually good to go. With 93K, it's a wonder it didn't fail earlier.
