203 part time conversion shift patteren

on my 74 f 100, I have the 203 with the part time conversion kit. Can someone tell me what the shift pattern is? The only 4x4 I ever owned had a 4 hi and 4 low very easy to use .

Thanks, not to sound stupid,but what is the diff between 2x4 hi and 2x4 low?

2x4 High is the normal everday driving position.

2x4 Low works the same way but uses a lower range gear in the t-case.

Be careful with those part time 203 kits. All of the ones i have heard of have major lubrication issues. If it was my truck i would be looking for either an NP205 or unmolested NP203.

Agreed, most 203's end up getting filled with 90w which is too heavy to properly lube the case and they come to a premature death, 30w is the recommended lube.
