I replaced my brakes and rotators a a little while ago with Akebono brakes. The replacement went fine until winter came. When I drive thru deep snow when I go to apply the brakes the peddle will go to the floor. When you let off the peddle and reapply the brakes they work fine. This does not happen any other time. The snow has to be about 6 inches or more. I have checked brake fluid levels and it is fine. Since winter is coming I am trying to get this problem figured out. I am wondering if it is just snow getting packed in behind the wheel. Any suggestions of where to start would be appreciated.
Thank you everyone for the input. I will start with bleeding the brakes and see if that helps this winter. My only thought would be that if there was air in the lines then I would have brake issues all the time just not after driving thru deep snow. I will start with this and see where it takes me. Thank you
