Brake rotor interchangeability
I am building a 1951 Ford COE that I mounted on a 1986 F250 chassis. It is 2WD with a 460/C6 combination. I installed a 2000 F250 disc rear axle in the rear and have a set of Ford factory aluminum 18" wheels and tires for it. The front discs have the 8.6" wheel pattern while the rears are 170mm. Finally to my question: does anyone out there know of a way to put rotors on the frontthat will have the 170mm bolt pattern? Will a 1999 and later hub bolt up to the 1986 spindle? I know I can get a set of adapters but I would rather not if there is another alternative.
