For my 92 F150 I have the stock shock on each tire but I would like to see if there is a kit out there that I could put two shocks on each front wheel. I've looked a little in the past for this but not much was out there if I remember right.
The quad shock was a factory option, so you could go to a junkyard and get all the parts you need. You'll need a quad shock coil bucket and the bracket that goes under the front coil.

This is the cheapest way to do it. I got my buckets from the JY but ordered the lower shock mount from Ford. Only because all the lower mounts in the JY weren't worth putting on the scrap iron barge no less MY truck.

It was an option for my year? Regardless, I am not sure I'll be able to find them in a yard around here, I have never seen this at the yard near me.
Will still look though. In the event I can't find them, any part numbers or places I could call to follow up?
I figured they all came with the lower mount. My truck has the lower shock mount, but single shock buckets. Been contemplating saving to swap in the dual shock buckets with stiffer shocks all around.

It was an option for many, many years. Also look at Broncos as it seems to be a more common option on them for some reason.
I don't know of any company that makes an aftermarket kit. New parts from the Ford dealer would be hideously expensive. Try the junkyard before you write it off.
I am running the Rancho RS9000 (the non-adjustable shocks). Since I have a MUCH, MUCH powerful motor, bigger tires, etc., I thought stabilizing the front won't hurt.
If they are like my Pro Comp extended radius arms, it shouldn't. I have the mount for a dual shock setup without the dual shock spring bucket. The arms mount exactly like the normal Ford arms and the lower shock mount for the front shock mounts just like the stock system. I'll take a picture when I get home from class...
