After completing the underbody rust removal - exterior thread https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...l#post12261141 on my Ex it was time to move onto the interior. While installing a backup camera a few months ago and removing some trim in the process I could see ground up road salt down in all the tracks and under the carpet. I began the process of gutting the interior and sealing, and sound proofing while I was at it this weekend. The goal was to clean the carpets, under the carpets, rust proof and sound proof. Sound while driving is much improved!
Tools and Supplies used in this project
Socket Ratchet with various extensions
Torx Bit T55
Torx Bit T30
Metric Socket 8mm
Metric Socket 18mm
Cheater Bar (iron pipe)
Utility Knife (with lots of extra blades)
Wagner Heat Gun
Dremel with Wire Wheel Attachment
Fluid Film
Degreaser
Rustoleum Rubber Sealant
Here is the reason for the project - salt everywhere under the carpet. Yes I'm sure it's salt and you don't want to know how.

Definitely enjoyed your last thread on the work you did with the exterior. I just tried to pull up the attachment and it's giving me an error of "invalid attachment specified". Could you try to repost it?

Thanks!
Posting it again now had to separate the attachments into two parts so there will be two threads. Thanks
That's good sound advice thanks Stewart. Can't breathe but little baby breaths anyway and that's on an array of pain meds. Just ribs have to be the worst....darn breaker bar! Thanks for cleaning up my mess for me.
